Bayer CropScience was established on June 4, 2002 by German's Bayer AG. With the acquisition of Aventis CropScience, Bayer CropScience has officially launched its business in the areas of crop protection.
Bayer CropScience operates three business groups(Crop protection, Environmental science, Bioscience) and represented in five global continents including Europe, South America, North-East Asia, NAFTA (North America Free Trade Agreement) and the rest of the globe.
Bayer CropScience is thus equipped with a wide variety of value added products, which can accommodate a diverse market requirement. In the field of crop protection, Bayer CropScience has a strong position not only in the world but also in local markets in such fields as insecticides (world no. 1), fungicides (world no. 2) and herbicides (world no. 3). In addition to this, Bayer CropScience has added the business group environmental sciences specializing in the prevention of household disease and harmful insects, and the business group biosciences that concentrates on biotechnology.
Since we put the standard and evaluation of our business activities on securing customer satisfaction and trust, we have set up our motto as 'Your Partner for Growth' when Bayer CropScience was established. Therefore, these activities and efforts will be continued in various different sectors.
In order to realize our business objectives, Misung Ltd. has changed its company name to Bayer CropScience Ltd. and is in process of reorganizing its business entity to include all the employees of CropScience Korea.
